Classically trained and known for her moody, elegant colour palette, Margaret has been painting seasonal flower still life paintings and landscapes since childhood. Her art appears to exude a feel of a bygone area and invites the viewer to pause for a moment.

In her paintings, Margaret likes to explore a connection between ourselves and the world around us. She prefers to employ traditional techniques, honed in over the years, in her paintings, to depict seasonal flowers, from her own garden, in still life settings.  

Margaret’s artwork shows the beauty around us, in small, everyday things in our homes and outdoor spaces. She usually sneaks family memorabilia into her compositions to further connect with her subject/objects.
