Works
Overview

Painting primarily on location or ‘en plein air’, Alex's works seek to capture the mood or essence of a place at a particular moment in time.

By working from life and taking inspiration from nature and the seasons, Alex is able to develop a deep understanding of a landscape or still life, resulting in quick and lively compositions which express the beauty of the world surrounding him.
